Soccer update

We haven't won a game yet but we've only played three so it's not that bad. Our record is at
0-3. We have a lot more games and two tournaments so we can still catch up.

Digital Art

We made digital paintings for art. I made a sunset to show the beauty of the prairies. I used Microsoft paint. To make the sky I used multiple colours in the spray can. I use the bendy line for the sun and the prairie. It was kind of cool to use the computer but I still like pencil and paper better.

Mae Wilson Theater

We went to the Mae Wilson theater for a tour. When we got there we were greeted by a clown. It scared some people when he came running up to the door. He took us into a room were there was another clown. They introduced them selves as Micky (the funny one) and Maude (the serious one). They took us to the history room were they told us how Mae Wilson was and why the theater was named after her. They told us that she was the mommy of Larry Wilson who gave 350,000 dollar to have the theater repaired but he had one condition, that it be named after his mother, Mae Wilson. Then they took us to the main entrance were they showed us the roof which was salvaged from the old theater. They took us to the box office next were we tried to cram in. Micky came up dressed as an old women named Matilda. She asked if she could get a ticket for Ain't We Got Fun. It was really funny. they took us to a whole bunch of other rooms. It was really fun and I don't think there was one person who didn't laugh. It was pure genius! I can't wait till the show Ain't We Got Fun!

Easter Break

At the start of my Easter break I went up to my uncles in Settler to get my grandpa who just got his surgery done in Calgary. On Easter Sunday my cousins from Lloyldminster came up for super. We had an egg hunt after which was way to easy. We left my uncles on Monday to head to our other house in Fiske. My dad and I to our farm on Tuesday to do some cattle tagging. I was excited to find out that my cow Bernardette had calf that I named Baliey. On Thursday my mom and grandpa went home but me and my dad stayed up in till Saturday. On Sunday we came home too. We stop at my house to grab my gun and then we went to my Grandpa's.We stop along the way to try and shoot some gophers but we weren't that successful. It was a long but fun holiday but I think I stayed up to late.

Soccer

Ya, I made the team! On Monday night my coach phoned are house and told me I was on, and to pick a number. I shouted out number one but he said since I was born in 1998 I had to pick and even number, so I picked number four. He told me practices would be on Sundays and Wednesdays and we would have games on Mondays. After that I gave it to my mom, and ran down stairs and told my the good news. The rest of my night was great and nothing anybody did could put me into a bad mood. We start practice after Easter to get ready for the three tournaments were going in and for the reagular league.

Soccer

last night I had soccer tryouts again. It was the last tryout so were going to find out who made the team tonight. There were a few kids from last year and other kids who were just plain good so it could go either way. The team has decided to go into to division 1, so were going to be playing in tournaments in Regina and also in Swift Current. We'll practice twice a week so going in the non-competitive league would equal four nights of soccer which might be a little hard. I hope I make the team!

Soccer

Last Sunday I went to soccer tryouts at Peacock for the competitive team. When we got there we had to sign in and get a green or yellow jersey. It was a few minutes until we started doing drills. Near the end we had a game of scrimmage. We dived up into two teams, one yellow the other green. Each team got to pick a country to represent, we were Brazil. There was a guy who helped us with our positions. After we finished the practice the guy had a meeting with our parents and us kids. he said they'd have to cut two kids. Hopefully I'm not one of them!

Blackout

adopt your own virtual pet!

Here's my virtual pet blackout. He's named after one of my pet fish. I have 6 fish at home and no other pets. Three of them died, and one was my favorite, Cammie. I've had them for 2 years since I got them from one of my dad's friends. I bought one a while ago, but it fought Cammie for teritory. Both of them were injured and not long after they both died. I hope the others live for along time.

Q:Whats a podcast?

A: A podcast is a like a radio show combined with a slide show. They have video and audio running at the same time. They seem like they would be hard to get one to work but I'd think it would be to make one. My topic would be about one of my favorite games Heroscape. I'm wondering if were going to Skype Alex again to see how to make one. Can't wait to see what happens.

My First Video

Here's my first video! On Wednesday we had are class mentor Skye us and help us up load our videos. It took a while but eventually it worked. It was cool to get it up and running on my blog. I hope I can make another one but I think it may be a diffrent topic. Watch out for this movie star.

Glogster

What do you think? Did March come in like a lamb or a lion? I would say a lamb because it was pretty nice compared to the other weather we've had. I'm hoping we can break the old riddle and go in with a lamb and go out with one too but those says are usually true. Right now there has been a spell of cold weather that just won't go away!!! I can't wait until spring rolls in with some nice weather and we get rid of all the ice on the roads and other areas.

Glogster

Here's my first glog! If your wondering why there's so many penguins, I'll tell you why, Its freezing cold, trust me! I didn't think there was no other way to symbolize winter. I wonder how cold its going to get? Hopefully no more than -20 because it has bin in the -25 to -30 range for the past week. Come on mother nature!

Sledding

We went sledding at Spring Creek park last Friday.There were more than 50 crashes and no injury's. It was a really great day for sledding. The centre of the ice got so slick that we were flying right of the little jump. When we came back from sledding we had popcorn and hot chocolate. I hop we can go again.

STARWARS

STARWARS


Since I've been blabbing away about STARWARS. I've decide to make a biography about all the main characters. You might want to make some time.

THE ALLIANCES




The two powerhouses in the clone wars were the Separatist Alliance and the Republic. In the rebellion, the empire was the ruler of the galaxy.


The armies of the Republic were the clones and Jedi. The separatists droid armies was lead by the Sith. The empire took over the clone armies as storm troopers.

THE DROIDS

The battle droids are the workhorses of the separatists. Yes, they are easy to make, they follow orders out, but there stupid. With the shortage of servile motors, they aren't that hard to out maneuver.

The super battle droid is an elite army of droids that use there rocket launchers and lasers before their heads. They were first introduced in movie number 2. They are a little bit smarter than the normal battle droids but are still no match for the fast shooting clones.

Droidekas, fast, powerful, strong, what a droid. They are the best droids around but are pretty expensive, so they aren't seen that much in battle. They use two barreled blasters and rocket launchers for offense. They have a force shield for there defence, and for quick movment, they fold up into a ball and speed around. The droideka has between a few jedi, but to many.

Lego drama

Have you ever wanted something so bad but each time you went to get it, it wasn't there? Well that's whats happening to me. I've been trying to get an enormous Lego set for weeks. We've been to Regina and Moose Jaw and we've tried the Sears catalogue and Lego shop. No luck. My mom is going to Calgary, so I'm beening hopeful. Come on mom!

This year for Christmas my family went to my grandpa's house. All my cousins and relatives came down for one week and for Christmas day. I got a Wii and a lego set from my mom and dad. I got $150 from my Grandparents. Santa got me somthing called Uberstixs. It was a great holiday.
